Sharing with the Mairie at Perriere

The public lift, the 10th floor of building A and the access space between (and possibly the outside staircase on B) are places for which the Commune through its Mairie has some control and responsibility, but nobody seems to understand exactly what responsibility.
The coproprietaires alone paid for the resurfacing of the access area a few years ago. It is said that the Mairie paid for the work recently completed on floor 10 and organised by our Syndic, but have not paid (yet?).

It is a fact that Mairie and consequent public involvement in our buildings has been problematic from the start. It took several years after 1992 to get the Mairie to pay for the operation of the public lift!

If you are interested in this subject may I suggest you start by searching the whole Forum using the term Mairie and you will see why several owners wish we had more control of the relationship. To gain more control in the first place we must understand the Mairie's rights and responsibilities. Sogire have been requested several times to look into this and obtain the relevant documentation but currently nobody has the documented facts. These are the foundation of understanding and control.

Any dealings we have with the Mairie in the future must be built on this foundation. This is the priority. Do you agree? if not. or you just want to become a part of the discussion please post.
